Cairo Short Break

Overview

A compact city break built around the essentials: the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx, the Grand Egyptian Museum, the Citadel and the bazaar at Khan el-Khalili. Two full days of private guided sightseeing, a central 4★ hotel and all transfers, with time left over for a Nile dinner cruise or the Sound & Light show. Well suited to a long weekend or a stopover extension.

Day by day

1. Day1

   Arrival in Cairo

   Meet & assist at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Evening free; the Sound & Light show at the pyramids can be arranged.

2. Day2

   Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum

   Morning at the Giza plateau: the Great Pyramid, the panorama viewpoint and the Sphinx, with the option to enter a pyramid. Lunch, then the Grand Egyptian Museum until late afternoon.

3. Day3

   Old Cairo

   The Citadel and Mosque of Muhammad Ali, then Coptic Cairo with the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Afternoon walk along Al-Muizz Street to Khan el-Khalili. Optional Nile dinner cruise in the evening.

4. Day4

   Departure

   Free morning depending on your flight time; Saqqara can be added for later departures. Transfer to the airport.
