Ramadan Umrah – The Last Ten Nights

Overview

A programme built around the last ten nights of Ramadan. It opens with three nights in Madinah before the final ten begin, followed by eight consecutive nights in Makkah, where you observe Taraweeh and Tahajjud at the Sacred Mosque during the nights when Laylat al-Qadr is sought. Accommodation is in selected four-star hotels within easy reach of both Haram mosques, with iftar and suhoor served daily, air-conditioned coaches for all transfers and a religious guide who accompanies the group and leads its lessons and gatherings. It is designed for those who want the last ten nights to be a season of worship, untroubled by travel logistics.

Day by day

1. Day1

   Day 1: Cairo – Madinah

   Gather at Cairo International Airport for a direct flight to Madinah, arriving a few days before the last ten nights begin. Meet and assist at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, coach transfer to the hotel, then iftar and Taraweeh at the Prophet's Mosque.

2. Day2

   Days 2–3: Madinah

   Iftar and Taraweeh at the Prophet's Mosque, with a visit to the Rawdah subject to permits. Ziyarat to Quba Mosque, Masjid al-Qiblatayn, Mount Uhud and the Seven Mosques, plus a daily lesson with the guide on the virtues of the last ten nights and the etiquette of i'tikaf.

3. Day4

   Day 4: Madinah – Makkah

   Enter ihram at the miqat of Dhul Hulayfah (Abyar Ali) and travel by coach to Makkah. Check in, perform Umrah with the guide, then break the fast and pray Taraweeh at the Sacred Mosque as the last ten nights begin.

4. Day5

   Days 5–11: Makkah – The Last Ten Nights

   The heart of the programme: tawaf, prayers at the Haram, and Taraweeh and Tahajjud every night, with particular devotion on the odd nights. The guide gives short lessons after Asr, and one day is set aside for ziyarat to the holy sites, Jabal al-Nour and Jabal Thawr. Iftar and suhoor are served daily at the hotel, and a second Umrah from Masjid al-Tan'eem is possible for those who wish.

5. Day12

   Day 12: Makkah – Jeddah – Cairo

   Farewell tawaf after Fajr, then coach transfer to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah for the flight to Cairo, home in time for Eid al-Fitr with the family. May your fasting and prayers be accepted.
