Luxor & Aswan Nile Cruise

Overview

A Nile cruise designed for Egyptian families and friends. Board a 4-star cruise ship in Luxor and sail to Aswan over four nights on full board, with guided visits to Karnak, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Philae. Travel from Cairo by first-class or sleeper train, or fly if you prefer. Licensed Egyptian guides lead the visits in Arabic, and the pace suits children and grandparents alike.

Day by day

1. Day1

   Cairo to Luxor and embarkation

   Arrive in Luxor by morning train or flight and meet our representative at the station or airport. Board the ship for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Karnak and Luxor Temple with your guide.

2. Day2

   The West Bank, then sail to Edfu

   Visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch and sail south towards Edfu. Entertainment on board in the evening.

3. Day3

   Edfu and Kom Ombo

   Ride by horse-drawn carriage to the Temple of Horus at Edfu, then sail on to Kom Ombo for the twin temple at sunset. Continue overnight to Aswan.

4. Day4

   Aswan, then home

   Visit the High Dam and the Temple of Philae, then take a felucca around Elephantine Island. Optional excursion to Abu Simbel. On day five, breakfast, disembark and return to Cairo by train or flight.
